I have solar but want a battery installed – how do I go about doing this?
Simple! We would arrange a site survey with yourself to inspect the current installation and design a bespoke battery specification to suit your needs.
I’ve ordered an electric car and need a charging point. What do you need to inspect?
We would arrange a site survey or photos for a desktop estimate. We would need to ensure you have surge protection as well as a 100a main cut out fuse. In most cases we recommend a full EICR prior to any EV charger being installed to ensure you’re as safe and as up to date as possible.
Are you registered?
Yes ! We are register under the CPS Scheme with NAPIT, a verified member of CHECKATRADE and OZEV approved for EV installing.
Are there still government grants for EV chargers?
Yes and we are authorised by the UK government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles to install EV charge points.
I have an old fuse board – can you change it?
A full EICR is recommended prior to any new fuse board changes so there are no nasty surprises. We would proceed to upgrade your fuse board to the highest standard using the best materials and provide a brand new certificate.
What is the rough cost of an EV charger?
Many factors are taken into consideration when pricing EV charger installations. Such as are you eligible for the UK grant? Do you have a compliant consumer unit? How long is the cable run to the EV? Do you want a charger that can harness your existing solar? We can answer all these from a simple site survey and manage everything to suit your needs and budget.
